Not Only Professional, But Passionate Too

Christie Lavans-Adam is the founder and sole owner of Estética Clinic. Her love and interest in alternative medicine first became clear when she fell ill at a family gathering and had to get immediate treatment for a allergic reaction to food she ingested. A family member qualified in cupping therapy suggested that she could treat her with wet cupping to remove the toxic blood. Christie did not hesitate to lay down and allow this person to go to work on her. The immediate difference to her swollen appreance and itychy irritated eyes, was proof enough that alternative medicine does work.
The following year, she was introduced to Microneedling. And after listening to numerous clients, and after seeing pictures of improved appearances of scars, wrinkles, big pores, stretch marks and a healthy glowing skin, she instantly fell in love with this form of skin care treatment. 
Years later in 2019, she finally had the opportunity of realizing her dream to study and graduate cupping therapy level 1 at the Rahmat Hijama/Cupping and Wellness Centre, after which she immediately started working on patients with Parkinsons Disease, Cancer, Arthritis, Diabetes, Chronic Constipation, Fibroids, and even treating a spider bite. 
In March of 2021, Christie completed her course and graduated in Microneedling at Aesthetic Artistry based in Pretoria, Gauteng, under the training and leadership of Erica Davis and Ashley Jaghlassian, after which she founded Estética Clinic, while still employed full time at a Dermatologist in Linksfield, Johannesburg, where she also administers peels for the treatment of acne and pigmentation.
